Core Technology (Copper Etching Technology)
VTS-Touchsensor has pioneered new touch sensor functionalities by integrating our core technology, the etching process, which forms fine patterns of copper metal on transparent film, with various technologies. By utilizing copper as the sensor material, we lower resistance, enhance performance with features such as narrow bezels and pen functionality, and increase sensor sizes. Additionally, our sensors are adaptable to curved cover lenses and 3D shapes due to their flexibility. Our roll-to-roll manufacturing process from base substrate to patterning ensures excellent productivity and consistent quality assurance. Furthermore, with extensive experience in moiré prevention design, fine processing, and blackening treatment experience, we have significantly improved visibility, a common metal mesh challenge. Both double-sided (F2) and single-sided (FF) sensors comply with specifications for consumer electronics, automotive, and industrial equipment applications.
Moving forward, we will continue to advance our technology and explore new possibilities, leveraging synergies with our customers.

A sensor with copper wiring patterned on both sides of the film.
It’s easier to slim down compared to the FF type.
No misalignment during sensor attachment.
Copper wiring is patterned on only one side of the film. By stacking two sheets, it becomes the capacitance touch sensor.
