Introduction to Technology
We have developed unprecedented new functions for touch sensors by utilizing etching process to form fine patterns of metallic copper on transparent film as a core technology and combining it with various peripheral technologies. The use of copper as a sensor material has realized a significant reduction in resistance value, enabling higher performance and larger sensor sizes, including narrower frames and support for pen functions. In addition, the flexibility of the sensor also enables curved cover lenses and support for 3D shapes.
